Abby the Bee
Last updated: July 13, 2026
1. In short
Abby the Bee is a puzzle game. We collect the minimum data needed to run the game, understand how it is used (anonymously), fix bugs, and manage subscriptions. We never sell your data and there are no ads. Audience measurement uses no personal identifier — the data is anonymous and cannot identify you.
2. Who we are
This website and the Abby the Bee application are published by GUGGETS, a simplified joint-stock company with a sole shareholder (SASU) whose registered office is located at 14 rue Bausset, 75015 Paris, France, registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Register under number 914 167 010 (SIRET 914 167 010 00018).

3. What we process, why, and on what legal basis (GDPR)
| Data | Why | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|
| Usage & progress (levels played, stars, hints, time, screens, language, device model, OS/app version) — measured without any persistent personal identifier (anonymous/aggregated, via TelemetryDeck) | Understand and improve the game (funnels, retention, sticking points) | Anonymous data (outside the scope of GDPR identifiability); audience measurement without consent (cookieless, not a tracker under ePrivacy) |
| Crash reports (app state at the crash, stack trace, device/OS) | App stability and security | Legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f) |
| Subscription (premium status, Apple transaction identifier, product purchased) — never your card details, handled by Apple | Provide the premium service, restore purchases | Performance of a contract (Art. 6.1.b) |
| Notifications (if you enable them) | Send you reminders and news | Consent (Art. 6.1.a) |
Your game progress is stored locally on your device (and, for premium, tied to your Apple account via the App Store).
4. Service providers
- TelemetryDeck — anonymous, cookieless audience measurement (no personal identifier). Policy
- Google Firebase (Crashlytics, and Cloud Messaging if you enable notifications) — crash reports, notifications. Policy
- RevenueCat — subscription management. Policy
- Apple — In-App payments and distribution.
Some of these providers may process data outside the EU (e.g. the United States); such transfers are governed by the Standard Contractual Clauses and/or the Data Privacy Framework.
5. Advertising & tracking
We do not use advertising or cross-app tracking. The app does not show the “App Tracking Transparency” prompt, because we do not track you across other apps or websites.
6. Retention
- Analytics: kept in anonymous, aggregated form for statistical purposes; being anonymous, it is not subject to a personal-data retention limit.
- Crash reports: 90 days (Firebase Crashlytics’ default retention).
- Subscription: for the duration of the contractual relationship plus applicable legal obligations.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you may request: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability, and to withdraw consent at any time (without retroactive effect).
- Requests: contact@guggets.com. We respond within one month.
- Because audience measurement is anonymous (no personal identifier), there is no data tied to you to exercise these rights on for that part.
- You may lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL (cnil.fr).
8. Children
Abby the Bee is a general-audience game, not specifically directed at children under 15 (the age of digital consent in France). We do not target children and do not knowingly collect data from them. If you are under 15, please use the app with a parent’s agreement.
9. Security
We implement reasonable measures to protect data. Payments are handled entirely by Apple; we never see your banking details.
10. Changes
We may update this policy; the date at the top shows the latest version. Significant changes will be signalled in the app.
